About WLTS & OFAAL
West London Tamil School (WLTS) is a community charity established in 1978, dedicated to teaching Tamil language, culture, and Carnatic fine arts to young learners. Running on Saturdays during the UK academic year, the school provides children with the opportunity to develop Tamil reading, writing, and speaking skills while exploring their cultural heritage. Students can also train in a range of Carnatic arts including music, dance, and instrumental studies, with recognised examinations offered through the Oriental Fine Arts Academy London (OFAAL). Supported by qualified volunteer teachers and a dedicated Board of Governors, WLTS offers a safe, nurturing environment where students grow in confidence, creativity, and community spirit.
